The location of Upper Deck Hotel was fantastic, with quick access to nearby beaches and shops. The on-site bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the pool bar was perfect for relaxing. I really appreciated the live music pretty much every night. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. everyone was engaging and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and clean, though I did notice some dated furnishings. The amenities, like the quiet air conditioning which worked excellently, kept the room comfortable. However, our experience was marred by noise issues coming from the kitchen area right next to our room. The kitchen staff were loud late into the night, which made it hard to get proper rest. Despite that, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return, but I’ll be more careful about room selection next time.

I enjoyed my stay with clean facilities and friendly staff, and the hotel is conveniently just a short walk away from the beautiful South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center, as well as a variety of restaurants like Liam's Steak House & Oyster Bar that made exploring the area so easy.

The Deluxe King Room was clean and had all the essentials. It smelled good, which is always a plus! The beds were comfy, and we didn’t hear any loud neighbors, so that was nice for a peaceful stay. Really enjoyed the vibe. It’s close to the beach, which made it easy to go grab some sun. Overall, great experience in the room!
